Terms & conditions
These terms apply to orders placed on this website with Una's 2210 Patisserie Limited ("2210", "we"). By placing an order you agree to them.
Who we are. Una's 2210 Patisserie Limited, a company registered in Ireland, company number (CRO) 682960. Registered office: 50 Pearse Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, N91 FY58. Email info@2210patisserie.ie or phone 085 158 4158.
Orders and prices. Prices are in euro and include VAT. An order is accepted when we email to confirm it. Photos are for illustration: everything is made by hand, so yours may differ a little.
Payment. Card payments are processed securely by Square; we never see or store your card details.
Delivery by post. We post to addresses in the Republic of Ireland with DPD, on the days and for the price shown at checkout. Please give a full address and Eircode: we can't refund or replace a parcel sent to a wrong or incomplete address. Delivery dates are our best estimate and couriers can occasionally be delayed.
Changes and cancellations. Postal order contents can't be changed. You can cancel a postal order up to 28 hours before collection starts on its dispatch date, and a bulk order (see Bulk orders, below) up to 28 hours before collection starts on its delivery, dispatch or collection day. Cupcakes follow the same rule as our other treats: you can cancel them up to 28 hours before collection starts on the collection day. Collection starts at the shop's collection time that day (for a posted order, our Mullingar shop's; for delivery by our van, 8am), so an order for that day or the next usually can't be cancelled once paid. Celebration cakes can be cancelled for a full refund up to 14 days before the date; after that we keep a €50 booking charge for the date.
How to cancel. Email info@2210patisserie.ie (or reply to your order email) with your order number, for example W261023-47FCBB. An email that reaches our inbox before the cut-off counts, even late at night or when the shop and phone line are closed: we go by the time it arrives. We'll reply to confirm and refund the way you paid: a card payment back to that card, and any part paid with a 2210 gift card back onto the gift card.
Homeware, books and other non-food items. You can cancel an online order for these within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, sale items included: email info@2210patisserie.ie with your order number, then send the item back unused and in its original packaging within 14 days of telling us. We refund the item and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of getting it back; return postage is yours to pay unless the item is faulty. This doesn't apply to food, or to a book Una has written a personal message in, as it's made personal for you.
Bulk orders. A bulk order is an office order (delivered by our van or collected), a corporate gifting order sent to a list of people, or an order of more than 60 items, which we arrange with you directly as it's more than we take for collection online. A bulk order can be changed or cancelled up to 28 hours before collection starts on its delivery, dispatch or collection day, the same as our other treats. A gifting order over €500 is paid by Square invoice, due before dispatch. Trade orders follow the trade account terms below.
Faulty or damaged goods. Please tell us as soon as you can. For postal orders our courier collects the item so we can look into it; we then refund or replace it. Sale items bought in our shops can't be returned because you've changed your mind; if one is faulty, your rights are the same as for anything at full price.
Allergens. What we make uses gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soya, sulphites, mustard, sesame, celery and fish. See our Allergens page before you order.
Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash or refunded, and can be used in our shops and online. If an order you paid for with one is cancelled or refunded, that part goes back onto the gift card.
Trade accounts. These terms also apply to businesses with a 2210 trade account (wholesale and corporate), who order on account on our trade page. We may decline an application, and can switch an account off if invoices go unpaid or the account is misused.
Trade prices and VAT. Trade prices are the prices shown on the trade page when you order. They include VAT at the rate that applies to each product, as on your invoice, which shows the VAT.
Trade delivery and collection. Our own van delivers to the delivery areas listed on the trade page, for that area's delivery fee, on the delivery days and in the window shown there (currently between 8am and 12 noon); or you collect from the shop shown. Order by 1pm, 2 working days ahead. If no one is there to take a delivery, we leave it in a safe place if you've agreed one with us; otherwise we bring it back. Either way the order is charged.
Trade invoices and payment. There's no card payment when you order. When your order is delivered or collected, we email you an invoice through Square, with a Pay online link. New accounts pay within 30 days of the invoice, unless we've agreed other terms for your account. While an invoice is overdue, new orders on the trade page are paused until it's paid.
Changing or cancelling a trade order. You can change or cancel a trade order until 1pm the day before its delivery or collection day. After that we're making it, so please call us.
Missing or damaged trade items. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery or collection and we'll credit them on your next invoice.
Storage, bake-off and allergens for trade customers. You're responsible for storing our products as we tell you and, for bake-off products, following our storage and baking instructions. Allergen information is shown for each product on the trade page; if you sell our products on, you're responsible for giving your customers the allergen information we give you.
These terms are governed by Irish law and don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
