Ingredients

  • 600g Oreo Crumbs
  • 270g Butter
  • 750g Cream Cheese

  • 7 Tablespoons Caster Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Egg Yolk

  • Vanilla Extract

  • 2 Packets of Oreos

  • 200ml Cream (Whipped)

Directions

  • Let's start by creating the crust. In a food processor, pulse the Oreos until they're finely ground, creating a cookie crumb
    texture.

  • Next, add the melted butter to the Oreo crumbs and mix well. Press this delicious mixture into an even layer over the bottom of a baking tin, ensuring a firm and compact base.

  • While the crust is baking, let's prepare the creamy cheesecake filling.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it turns light and smooth.

Add the caster sugar and continue mixing until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Beat in the eggs and fold in the chopped Oreos
Bake the crust for 8 minutes, allowing it to set and become delightfully crunchy

  • Preheat your oven to 170°C and bake the cheesecake for approximately 40 minutes. Keep an eye on it and look for the edges
to set while the centre remains slightly wobbly. This will ensure a perfectly creamy texture.

  • Once the cheesecake is baked to perfection allow it to cool  before adding Whipped cream ( I used a piping nozzle) on each slice and a little optional idea is to add a full Oreo ontop of the cream
